Free search audit

See where your practice shows up, on screen, with no email.

Type your website and postcode. The audit reads Google Maps at 25 points around you, ten local searches, Google's AI Overviews, three AI assistants, your website through Google's own PageSpeed service and your Google listing against the three practices Google Maps puts first at your postcode. Each part ticks off on the page as it is read, and the audit appears when the last one does.

  • No email to see it. The page is yours at a private link for 30 days.
  • Measured, not estimated. Every figure is shown with the date it was read and its source. No score, no "patients lost".
  • Nothing written anywhere. It reads public results. It never touches your website or your listing.

What it reads

Six readings, each one dated.

The same kinds of reading the product takes for its customers, run once for your town, so you can see what the free month would show before you start it. A part already read for your town this week is reused rather than bought twice, and keeps the date it was read.

Google Maps at 25 points

Your position in Google Maps at a grid of points a mile apart around your postcode, and the share of the people living nearest the points where you are in the top three, counted from ONS population figures for England and Wales.

Ten local searches

From "dentist" to "dentures", each followed by your town, in mobile results: who holds the map pack, where you rank, which of your pages ranks, and who is first.

Your share of the town's search value

Each search's monthly searches times its click price, shared among the first ten places on your town's own results page. Your place among the practices Google Maps shows around you, and the one just above you.

AI Overviews and three AI assistants

Whether Google's AI Overview appears and cites you, and whether you are named in answers from three AI assistants asked for a dentist in your town, with who is named instead, each answer word for word with its exact model and date, and whether each one searched the web.

Your listing against the first three on Google Maps

Reviews, rating, photos, categories, opening hours, description and booking link, side by side with the three practices Google Maps puts first at your postcode, and the review count practices on the map hold in towns where as many practices compete.

Your website's own facts

Page title, meta description, whether search engines may index your home page, robots.txt and the mobile performance score, read through Google's PageSpeed service. Google fetches the page, not us.

What the map part looks like

Every point is a search, run from that spot on the map.

Green is a top-three map place, the places that take the call. Amber means you are findable but further down. Red means outside the first ten, or not in the first 60 places Google listed there at all.

The audit draws the same grid for your postcode, dated with the day it was read, with the share of local people in each band. The picture beside this is the full rank grid from the live demo’s made-up town.

Plain dealing

What one audit cannot tell you.

One reading is not a trend

Positions move from week to week. The audit is a single snapshot and says so. The free month re-reads your rankings every week.

The practice list is automatic

The practices compared are the ones Google Maps shows around you. Nobody has checked the list by hand, so the free month's map, which uses a list a person checks, can read differently.

AI answers vary

An assistant can answer the same question differently each time, and an answer through its API is not exactly what a patient's own app shows. The audit asks each assistant once, on one day, and names the model beside each answer.

It cannot see your own accounts

Search Console, Analytics and your bookings record what actually happened. The free month reads them if you connect them. The audit reads public results only.

Questions

Asked before running it.

Is it really free?

Yes. No card, no email and no account. If you want the whole town mapped every week, the free month is the next step, and that needs no card either.

Why the postcode?

It decides which town's searches are read and where the 25 map points sit. A village postcode can offer the nearby town as well, because that is often where the patients search from.

Do you visit my website?

No. Your website's facts come from Google's PageSpeed service, which fetches the page itself. The audit reads search results and listings, never your site.

Will you email me?

Only if you ask for the link to be emailed, and then once. You do not need an email to see the results, which stay at a private address for 30 days.

What happens to what I type?

It is used to run the audit and kept with it. Audits are deleted after 90 days, and the result page has a button that deletes it at once. Nothing you type is sent to Google Analytics or used for advertising.

Is it "what ChatGPT tells my patients"?

No, and nothing honest could be. It is one question put to each model through its own API, naming your town. The page names the model and the date beside each answer, and says whether it searched the web.

Run it on your own town.

Two fields, then the page fills in. When you want the whole picture every week, the free month starts with your details already filled in.

No email for the audit · No card for the free month · Nothing starts when the month ends
