CQC records, for practices in England

The CQC record of every dental practice near you, on one page.

When CQC last inspected each practice within your radius, whether regulations were met on each of its five questions and who has no inspection on record at all. Read from CQC's own register through its official API, refreshed every week, on every plan.

The free month includes the CQC view for your area. No card. The free audit shows your Google picture, with no email.

A worked example

Every registration near you, on one page.

An illustration with invented practices. The names, counts and dates below are made up for this page and are not read from any real area or from our demo, but the layout is exactly what the free month shows for your own: the register for 5 miles around your practice.

Invented figures, for illustration only, six of 28 made-up rows. In the free month every row is a real CQC registration within your radius, read from the register.

CQC inspects dental practices but does not give them a rating such as Good or Outstanding. Its recent reports say whether regulations were met on each of five questions: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

For your own area

What the free month shows, from the first week.

Read from the official registers through their own APIs and refreshed every week, on every plan. Nothing here is estimated: each figure is what the regulator, the NHS or Companies House publishes.

CQC inspections

What CQC last reported for every practice within your radius, whether regulations were met on each of its five questions, and how long ago. Where a practice has changed hands and the new owner has no report yet, the last report under the previous owner is shown and labelled as such.

NHS contracts

What each NHS contract near you is worth a year, its price per unit of dental activity, and how far through this year's target it is. How the contract comparison works.

Who owns each practice

The company behind every practice, the groups holding more than one near you, and every sale or change of control in the last two years, linked through each practice's own CQC registration. Companies are named, people are not.

New dental companies

Dental companies registered in your postcode districts in the last year, with the ones that read like a new practice listed first, and the accountants’ addresses that many companies share left out.

Questions

Asked about the records.

Is this the CQC website's data?

Yes. It is CQC's own register, read through CQC's official API, gathered for the area around your practice in one view instead of one search at a time.

Does it cover the whole UK?

No. CQC regulates dental practices in England, and the NHS figures here are England's. Practices in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have their own regulators, which this does not read.

What does the free audit add?

Your Google picture: Google Maps at 25 points around you, ten local searches, three AI assistants and your listing against the three practices Google Maps puts first at your postcode. Results on screen, no email needed.

See it for your own area.

The free month builds your market map and the CQC records around your postcode, usually the same day. NHS contract values and owners follow with its first weekly reading, on the first Monday after you start. Or start with the free search audit, which shows your Google picture in one sitting.
