About

Built inside a practice, not a pitch deck.

Practice Radar was built by Jack Henty, business director and co-owner of Bollington Dental Practice, an independent practice in Cheshire. The practice had good clinicians, loyal patients and nearly fifty years of history, and it was almost invisible in local search. The agency reports said things were fine. The phones said otherwise.

So he built tooling to see the market the way Google saw it: every practice in town on one map, every ranking checked weekly, every review counted, and a short list of what to fix next. No agency retainer, no forty-page PDF. Just the map, the movers and three actions a month.

Between May and September organic clicks rose 9.6 times, and the practice moved from ninth to first of the eighteen tracked in its market on UK-wide search value.

Then he productised the exact tooling. Not a rebuilt, watered-down version: the same pipeline, the same map, the same weekly checks. The dashboard a subscriber logs into is the one our own practice still runs on. The demo shows the same screens on a sample town, open to anyone without a login.

That origin shapes the product. It is priced like a tool, not a retainer. It rolls month to month by default, because a practice should stay only while the numbers earn it. And it never names competitor practices negatively, on this site or in the product, because we sit in a market too.

Data ethics

What we measure, and what we never touch.

We measure public search results: rankings, business listings and review counts that anyone could see by searching. Where a practice connects its own ads account, we read its reports with consent. We never scrape patient data, we never connect to practice management systems, and we hold nothing about the people in the chair. The product knows your market thoroughly and your patients not at all.

How we work

Three habits we keep.

Measured, not modelled

Every number on this site was read off a dashboard, not projected from one. When fresh data is provisional, we wait.

Public data only

If a patient could not see it by searching, it is not in the product. Ads data enters only by the practice's own consent.

Cancel monthly

No minimum term, no exit call, no retention script. The renew decision should be easy every single month.

The rest is better shown than told.

Open the demo with one click and look round a sample town, or ask us to map yours and look at that instead.

Organic clicks 7.2 a day in May to 69.1 a day in September, on Google’s own counts. Ninth to first of eighteen tracked practices on UK-wide search value.
