Places are defined by Ordnance Survey settlement type, plus the 22 London boroughs and 48 Northern Irish towns that Ordnance Survey's dataset does not cover. COLUMNS place the place searched, as it appears in the query nation England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland region government office region; nation for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland county county or unitary authority, from Ordnance Survey. These are unitary names where they exist, so Cheshire appears as "Cheshire East" and "Cheshire West and Chester", not as "Cheshire". London boroughs carry "Greater London". 211 places have no county match settlement_type city, town or suburban area (Ordnance Survey) latitude, longitude place centroid, WGS84 practices_ranking dental practices appearing anywhere in the page one organic results for that place's own name. Directories, regulators, the NHS, social networks and multi-site groups are NOT counted practices_priced of those, how many had an organic search value returned. Shares are computed only from these top_three_share_pct share of the place's organic dental search value held by its three strongest practices. Blank where fewer than three could be priced, because a share of a town computed from one or two practices is not a share of anything leader_share_pct share held by the single strongest practice top_result_is_local_practice yes when the first organic result is a practice in that place; no when it is a directory, the NHS, a regulator, a social profile or a chain best_local_position the highest organic position any local practice reached. Eight places returned a map pack but no organic dental practice at all: Beccles, Haltwhistle, Ibstock, Llangefni, Menai Bridge, Porthmadog, Sandiacre and Sheringham. NOT IN THE COHORT Three towns are excluded because they are live Practice Radar markets and a customer must never be benchmarked partly against itself: Macclesfield, Wilmslow and Congleton.
